Joel founded BrightOrg Services from a 22-year career that included both sales leadership and business strategy consulting. His passion is to serve leaders and employees of organizations in achieving growth, with emphasis on business strategy, sales effectiveness, and leadership development. He has worked with organizations across industries in the areas of strategy, leadership, revenue growth, efficiency, and go-to-market capability development. Joel’s desire is to be a firm that always delivers promised results, inspiring people along the way.

JOEL NICKELSEN

FOUNDER AND CEO

Trip brings over 28 years of Coca-Cola Food Service and Retail experience to BrightOrg Services. His experience includes national account management, national retail sales, operations management, innovation management, purchasing, inventory management and engineering. He works with organizations to create value through recognizing their needs, aligning on solutions, and executing with distinction. Trip is recognized for his focus on the growth of people as the foundation to sustained operational change. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from Mercer University.

TRIP EBERHART

VP – CLIENT SUCCESS

Carrie joins Brightorg Services with over 25 years of experience in the non-profit industry, leading start up efforts and creating scalable, sustainable models. With her community-minded approach, human resource expertise and background as a cognitive psychotherapist, Carrie is a problem solver and collaborator who has contributed to various executive governance boards including a community hospital, mutual bank, charter school and a national service foundation. Carrie is driven by the desire to inspire and equip others to deliver world-class results that are aligned with organizational values and goals.

CARRIE AMOS

VP – OPERATIONS AND DEVELOPMENT

Karen has over 25 years of helping leaders, teams and businesses to work together to create meaning and economic value. She focuses on people growth and human capital with tested experience guiding leaders and teams to solve critical challenges. Her human resources expertise helps her shape cross-organization, transformation, and merger & acquisition initiatives. She has worked in both Fortune 500 and privately-owned companies, field and corporate environments, automotive, technology, mortgage and financial services and non-profit sectors. Community service board membership, volunteer mentor program leadership and leadership development have shaped her “why” and her “what.”

KAREN MORIARTY

PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT

Dwayne joins BrightOrg Services with over 25+ years of CPG experience. He has had a variety of experiences which include sales, planning, management, and leading special project teams. Dwayne thrives in helping clients work efficiently and effectively with a desire to inspire others to reach their full potential. He is passionate by serving others and helping organizations achieve superior results.

DWAYNE FLOOD

DIRECTOR, CLIENT SERVICES

David has over 6 years of experience serving clients through evaluating businesses with a mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance focus. He has worked with businesses across a wide range of industries understanding and analyzing business and acquisition strategy, competitive landscape, brands, customers, contracts, and more. He also has experience leading several teams cohesively to meet client objectives. David is passionate about combining excellent project execution and exceptional client service to deliver optimal results.

DAVID FLOYD

Tracie has worked in the fields of education and consulting since 2007. This experience has allowed her to develop expertise in the areas of strategic thinking, project management, people coaching, and training development. Known for her high standards, preparation, growth mindset, energy, and resolve to execute projects cleanly, creatively, and on time, Tracie is passionate about coming alongside clients to help them think and work in new ways in order to achieve their goals.

ENGAGEMENT LEADER

Brad has over 30 years of experience in various CPG organizations with extensive expertise in direct store delivery. During his career, he has led transformative initiatives within his organizations and with strategic customers. Brad’s background includes engaging business partners in creative, innovative supply chain solutions. He brings in-depth knowledge linked with a strategic outlook to enable growth, change, and superior results. Brad holds an MBA in marketing from Michigan State University.

BRAD ROBINSON

SENIOR CONSULTANT

Briggs has experience performing business valuations across a variety of industries. With a focus on M&A, his experience includes financial statements analysis, business and market trend research, technology, brands, customers, and more. He also has experience as a consultant in business process improvement and program management where he assisted an industry-leading quick-service restaurant in operationalizing a supply chain distribution network and manufacturing facilities. Briggs focuses on partnering with clients to help them achieve timely and measurable results.

Before joining BrightOrg Services, Briggs served in Ernst & Young’s Valuation, Modeling, and Economics practice. Briggs received his bachelor’s degree in finance and MBA from Florida State University. He resides in Atlanta, Georgia, and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities.

BRIGGS ELLISON

SENIOR CONSULTANT

Briana has a passion for serving clients with her project management skills. She is responsible for ensuring project deliverables are achieved. Briana leverages excellent communication skills, an encouraging spirit and a commitment to excellence in all of her work. She is a graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in Public Relations and began her career in sales for a consumer product company.

BRIANA BEGLYAROV

OPERATIONS LEADER

Tyler has over two years of experience in a mergers & acquisitions consulting role focused on the consumer products and private equity space. This experience is inclusive of financial modeling, financial statement analysis, transactional market research, and an array of valuation approaches and other skills necessary to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Tyler is driven to serve clients through employee growth and results-based strategy implementation.

Prior to joining the BrightOrg Services team, Tyler worked for Ernst & Young’s Strategy and Transactions practice based in Atlanta, GA. He attended the University of Georgia where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance.

TYLER JEFFARES

CONSULTANT

Olivia has over 4 years of experience in the non-profit sector, where she learned that building strong relationships, establishing trust, and providing effective coaching are the key to real change. More recently, she launched a career in Human Resources for a Luxury Resort and oversaw the onboarding over 1,000 employees. All of Olivia’s roles have helped develop her into a strong verbal and written communicator, and she leverages these skills to provide context to challenges and seek solutions with those around her.

Stephanie is a former educator of 8 years who took on many different roles (such as team leader and content coach) at her school in order to add value and aid in any way possible. She then transitioned to a virtual assistant role, where she had a high-profile client and shortly after starting, was made assistant to the CEO and VP of the company, as well as a success coach. In her time as an educator and virtual assistant, Stephanie managed projects for groups of 100+ people, utilizing her skills with technology including MS Office tools. Stephanie prides herself on her work ethic, and being someone that people can go to with a wide-range of different tasks. She is always eager to learn new and better ways of doing things, and strives to grow in her field. Stephanie has a true passion for helping others be successful and perform to their greatest potential.

Virginia has 2 years of experience in the telecommunications industry where she worked as an internal consultant and program manager in technical operations. During her time in operations, Virginia led initiatives that improved customer experience, streamlined processes, and drove revenue. Through this experience she became skilled at achieving results at a high level while working in the essential daily operations of a leading internet company. Virginia is passionate about solving problems and developing unique solutions through people connection and thoughtful analysis.

Taylor is an alumnus of the University of Georgia, having recently graduated studying Economics and Sociology. Her collegiate experience was accentuated by numerous leadership positions, which have shaped her professional proficiency in preparation for her role at BrightOrg. Taylor leverages her innate curiosity and adept problem-solving skills as an Analyst with the People Growth team, passionately supporting the organization’s strategic objectives.

Karen is a Business Catalyst with BrightOrg Services, supporting our Consultants and Clients in project coordination & administration. Her background includes 15 years in the Branding/Advertising industry, with experience in brand building, and media strategy. She spent 5 years in church ministry administration, and as a business owner of an art and vintage wares market in Denver, CO.

Christy has worked in the educational sector since 2007 with a wide range of experience including program development, leadership consulting, recruitment practices and organizational development and effectiveness. Through extensive travel as a consultant and continued professional opportunities in both the public and private sector, she has expertise in finding solutions to complex problems while developing the relationships necessary to effect real change. She values the partnerships necessary to reach optimal performance and seeks to maximize efficiency while maintaining strong ties to culture and experience.

Raiza brings over 25 years of leadership in IT Operations, and in coaching individuals and teams in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. As a Technology Director, Raiza developed and mentored teams that provided cost savings technical solutions for her organization, while focusing on the needs and concerns of end-users, guiding them in acceptance and adoption of the ever-changing technology.

Over the last 25 years Raiza has held multiple roles with various non-profits; divorce recovery support, marriage mentoring, character development for children. At the core of these roles is Raiza’s passion for helping individuals identify their strengths and equipping them so that they can transform adversity into a source for growth.

Jennifer is a former teacher and secondary education counselor who has a passion for helping others achieve their goals. She has over 10 years of experience in the education sector, where she taught various subjects, mentored students, and coordinated extracurricular activities. She has strong skills in leadership, teamwork, and communication, which she has demonstrated by leading successful projects, collaborating with colleagues and parents, delivering engaging presentations, and developing various programs. She enjoys working with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and she is always eager to learn new things and take on new challenges.

Scott joins BrightOrg Services bringing a career of leading teams of various sizes and complexity beginning as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps followed by a 30-year career with the Snack Food and Beverage Divisions of PepsiCo. Roles throughout his career encompassed supply chain leadership and optimization, planning, logistics, continuous improvement, warehousing, and direct store delivery. Scott is a values-based leader who has been successful at leading change resulting in improved productivity, employee safety and morale, and increased revenue and profitability. He holds a B.S. degree from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.
